Cotto - We're Ready for the next one

        Dj - and whos next?

Cotto - we dont know yet, we're waiting to meet with..

DJ - theres talk about pacquiao...honestly..are u interested in Pacquiao?

Cotto - thats an option, we need to sit down at the table and see if we can make a deal.see what each other wants in the deal

DJ - theres talk about a purse of a 70-30 deal

Cotto - that i can do but

DJ - I'll take that deal..i make the 30% in 5 years lol (eveybody starts laughing)Why so much for Pacquiao?

Cotto - thats 1 of the things we're working on.

goes off into PR slang i cant pick up on..

DJ - we ask all the tough questions here and never hold back..so no offense but this is no exception.

        Cotto - yes

DJ - Alot of people are saying that u may not be ready for Pacquiao right now, that ur corner and preparedness is off since u just got rid of ur Uncle. What do u say to those people.

Cotto - im aware of that...when Oscar was close to retirement..pacquiao made him come down to 144 145 and he was dry and left everything in training. He didnt bring anything to the fight night. When he fought hatton, i think eevrybody had Hatton over rated.Hes a good fighter but not that high of a caliber. He lost that fight on his own.I can box and move side to side or battle.I will not sacrifice my body to fight him and enter the fight limited like them so that pacquiao can take advantage of that window of opportunity.

DJ - do u like the fight at 146

Cotto - id like a limit of 145 minimum..anything less than that..then NO.

        More PR slang..laughing..

DJ - Is there any other fight u would like if this doesnt happen

Cotto - i think id like to give mosley his rematch since the 1st fight was close and an exciting battle..

        thats pretty much it.

He's right on both accounts, but I hope that doesn't make him think Pac isn't dangerous.

Nah I think he's just stating what many believe. Cotto is a much more dangerous opponent than either Hatton or Oscar were for Manny.

Well at least Cotto was telling the truth. hatton would be living in an apartment if he was American.

Yea I've seen an interview with him in 2007 when he was saying Hatton was overrated. Can't really disagree with him.

lol... pac didn't make oscar come down to 144, 145... dlh did that his damn self.

seems like cotto has no excuses if he loses. I'm also glad he wanted to give mosley a rematch (hopefully not in MSG).
