Is online like a Hayemaker spam-fest?

Because I only have the demo to play with and that's all I need to KO the other guy in round 1.

I guess it depends on the opponent though.

Not for punching but the sticks are used for other things, correct? Or do you simply ignore the sticks at all times?

        I played the demo
You judging both games off the demo is pretty silly.

its a button control game and I'm pretty sure they let you customize their controls.
there are several various different control schemes for FNR4. You would know that if you played the game.

They give you your 60 bucks worth. They don't just throw tyson in the game and expect ppl to buy it.
LOL, yeah they just threw in Tyson and that's it. THe career mode alone is a million times better than FN3. The Physics of teh game are incredible. The simple fact is you don't like the controls , you only played the demo and you refuse to learn a new system. That's pretty closed minded of you and unfair to judge the entire game because you prefer a different control scheme. Keep in mind, the main reason buttons were left out is the simple fact that it wouldn't be possible to do everything with a button scheme, it would be unfair for button users.

i know what ur saying...i played with pac man and hatton could not block the haymaker uppercuts i was throwing and i kept KO'ing him.

The real game is TOTALLY different...they actually block and stamina is lost much quicker by spamming the haymakers

Dunno how FNR4 is online...havent played it yet only offline

Nope. You cant do that to the CPU anymore (they are more challenging and more intelligent than the demo). Online I haven't came accross anyone trying to haymaker spam. I don't see how that would be effective because the haymakers are slow and very easy to counter.

What I have seen are ******s that throw nothing but non-stop jabs and straights. I found them the easiest to beat though, just bob & weave, follow with a hook or uppercut and that's all there really is to it. Plus their stamina goes down quickly, especially if you work their body early.

Yes. That's because you don't have to be crouching down to throw body shots anymore. You used to have to hold L1 to do so, not anymore, which means there are not enough buttons to use buttons to punch.

Achilles is being completely close minded, Natas hit everything right on the spot.

This game is so much more in depth its not even funny.

Forget Tyson, I had fun with Tyson a few times in Play It Now, otherwise I just play in Legacy mode with Roy, and I am having a blast.

                  2 things for you players...

You having a hard time with these counters? I mean I do them occassionally, but not that often thats for sure...

And another, these training games hard or what? Ive resorted to autoplay just so i get more then +1... man.

Do they have winning gloves? Pretty much all I want to know before I go drop 60 bucks on it.
