Who would air the fight? I know HBO had a bunch of Vitali's fights before he retired, but lately it's been Showtime and ESPN - neither of which provide great coverage in terms of build-up (and the latter has ads!)

It will be watched on in Germany on RTL and Russian TV by at least 60% of all households.

Both are household names in Russia and Germany.

I doubt if it will be on HBO, since Greenburg is making the decisions now, or Showtime. It will probably be on SKY in the UK and on ESPN Classic in the US (I just hope Atlas will not be doing the commentary).

Well I wasn't doubting that. I meant the American coverage.

ESPN Classic's coverage sucks. They overrun the rounds with adbreaks and silly talk, and hardly ever show the corner action in between rounds. HBO need to stop being so picky about what fights they get - this one is big, period. So they should bloody well air it.

You're not the only one misreading the v's. If you read reed's post you'll find it hard to believe he voted for Valuev by decision
