Pac is great win or lose. Cotto will continue fighting win or lose (I hope). But roach is just a trainer he can't decide for pac.

I agree with that when i still see Floyd in rankings and he has not fought in how many years? Why not put Sugar ray leonard or ali or lennox lewis.

Ain't nothing wrong with 65-35 Pac.. Cotto would be lucky to get 60-40, still his biggest pay day by far either way.

i also wish this fight would not happen, no one really wants this fight anyways except arum and cotto and his fans.

if this is pac last fight, i would rather see
                1. mayweather @ any weight class 50/50
                2. mosley @ 145-147
                3. jmm @ 140
                4. cotto @ 145-147

65-35 on a huge payday is better than 50-50 on a small payday.

This fight will be huge. Cotto should grab 65-35. If he loses he made a ton of money. If he wins (or loses in a competitive fight) he'll make tons more.

For pure business reasons he needs this fight and 65-35 is worth it.

That's what Pacquiao did when he fought Dela Hoya, he accepted a much lower deal only to become the new cash cow.

Cotto can do that if he beats Pacquiao!
