    o Defeated Gunebakan Kurban (Turkey) DISQ-2
    o Defeated Bsisi Taufiq (Israel) RSCO-3
    o Defeated Sebastian Kober (Germany) RSCH-4
    o Defeated Roberto Cammarelle (Italy) PTS (20-16)

    * 2003 won the gold medal at the World Championships in ****kok at Superheavyweight. Results were:
    o Defeated Djamal Madjidov (Ukraine) KO-2
    o Defeated Grzergorz Kielsa (Poland) PTS (20-9)
    o Defeated Rustam Saidov (Uzbekistan) PTS (30-10)
    o Defeated Pedro Carrion (Cuba) PTS (29-27)

    * 2004 won the gold medal at the European Championships in Pula, Croatia at Superheavyweight. Results were:
    o Defeated Ivica Bacurin (Croatia) RSCO-3
    o Defeated Vladimer Chanturia (Georgia) WO

            I think calling him a bum is harsh. He's skilled but isn't nearly as physically gifted as the Big K's I'm afraid. I do enjoy watching him fight I fondly remember his 2004 Olympic matches.

                povetkin is a good fighter wins over byrd tko, and eddie chambers ud. he is a hell of a beeter fighter than chargiev.short but very aggisive takes the fight 2 them.he does eat a lot of punchs doing it.so far has shown an iron chin.i think wlad will ko him but he will presure wlad and try his best 2 get inside and land.will be the best hes fought in a some time.

                  I like Povetkin's workrate and toughness.

                  And he throws a lot late.

                  But he gets hit too much. With bigger punchers that's not such a good thing but I know he will keep throwing no matter what.

                  Just think his d could be better.
