Thank you. Cotto's cut is worse than what Pacquiao suffered but not worse than what Marquez suffered. 3 months isnt ideal for full recovery of a cut requiring 28 stitches but more than sufficient. and boxers usually dont spar until the final month of training camp anyway.

I havent even read the article or know all the details for this fight. I just know the bitchin is blown way out of proportion. Cotto weighed in at 146 for his last fight so unless he balloons between fights like vargas 1lb is not going to make or break him. Physically an october fight would be more in the favor of Cotto because of his activity as opposed to Pacquiao who by fight time would have only seen 2 rounds of 1 sided action in 11 months.

I swear people need to look at both sides of the coin before shooting off at the mouth sometimes. And if a boxer cannot go into a fight at less than 100% then they need to retire because every professional fighter has gone into a fight at less than 100% at least once in their career. Difference is the only times you hear people bitching about it is when their fighter loses.

Pacquiao fought Oscar Larios with a 102degree fever. Anyone that's ever done any cardiovascular excersise with a fever knows it is not fun and cuts down their potential significantly. That's the difference between a pretender and a world champion. We dont hear about it today....but i guarantee you if Pac had lost that fight we would be hearing about it from the fans.

Are Pacquiao true colors staring to show? First he and Roach wants to weight drained Cotto and now he is not going to let Cotto's eye heal before the fight.

Their is no contract signing yet. Were not even sure what date will the fight would be?? He just said that he prefer october because he will havel a 4 month vacation that his not comportable with cause it's to long. Er.....If i recall correctly....both Pacquiao and Marquez suffered pretty brutal cuts in their rematch. and Pacquiao fought David Diaz 4 months later. which is roughly the same amount of time Cotto would have to rest his eye.

I believed it was 3 1/2 weeks after the JMM fight.
