Why are you taking my inventory? I have not said a bad thing about Mister Boat Buyer in some time. Why don't you go back and see my history of posts and see if I have been doing nothing but hating on Floyd. We were presented with an argument and I don't agree with the TS opinion. Yes I hate Floyd but only because of f@gs such as yourself who feel they have the need to defend Floyd. i've posted that combo many times in my threads and posts...it was one of the most beautifully thrown combinations in history...arguably the best of this decade for this reason---if you look how floyd landed it---he started it off by slipping a huge hook thrown by gatti---then he goes right into it---that's very difficult to do, but he is so athletically gifted, he made it look easy...he slips the hook, then pauses for a split second, then lands a 3 piece on gatti(the slapping punches that floyd throws are very effective---he lands a perfect 3 piece on gatti---a left hook downstairs, and a slapping left and right hook on gatti's face...

then he throws his famous jab to the body followed by a right hook upstairs, followed by a vicious left hook to the body---jab to the chest--vicious right hook to gatti's rib--right cross to his temple--jab to the chest again--ending with another right hook to the body---i've watched this fight many times and watched that combo so many times so i know this combo like the back of my hand...

it was an extremely complex combination,...which made it so breath-taking to watch because it wasn't a very fast combo, and you could see it coming and floyd's hands moving, but i don't care who was in there that night, floyd would have landed it anyway, because of how complex it was....gatti didn't know how to move or block it, because floyd threw to the head, body, and chest, while feinting and kept gatti off guard...i don't care if roy jones was in there, nobody would avoid that combo....it was a great combo, very complicated to throw...and floyd threw it perfect and it looked beautiful....

the gifs people are putting up in here of pacquaio landing on david diaz really doesn't do it for me....he throws fast punches that land on diaz but they look sloppy...floyd's combination was perfectly thrown to the head, body, and chest...pac just lunged in and wailed on diaz, floyd's combination was much more complex and devastating looking due to how he threw it and where he landed it....i'd advise everyone on here to watch it again in SLOW MOTION to see what i mean....and don't respond with **** like, "well, we'd have to watch pac's combo on diaz in slow motion just to see his hands, because they were so much faster than floyd's...we could see floyd's hands in his combo..." that won't cut it....

Well yeah but the focus is how crisp the punches landed were. Pacquiao would throw 30 punches and land 11. Which means the combo wasn't all that great. Flashy but not great. Floyd threw and landed every punch. Which makes it a better combo. I agree that JMM could have landed a combo like that on Gatti though.

Also, I already posted that JMM combo. Its on the 8th page I think.

maybe jmm could have but in terms of where floyd was positioned and how he feinted during it, and how he moved his body during it and how he knew where to throw every punch that quick and land every punch that quick, i don't see jmm making it look as masterful as floyd did, i don't see anybody doing that...floyd knew how to lean off to the side perfect in landing it, it was imo the best combo in years, period...all of the terry norris highlights and whitaker highlights and roy jones highlight don't change the fact that the combo floyd landed on gatti was just ill and very complex...a rare combo that was thrown beautifully....just brilliant work by floyd...which is why he is usually called brilliant when he fights because of how natural he looks in the ring...he doesn't look sloppy, he throws punches smoothly and sharply....the man is a brilliant fighter...merchant said it best after the gatti fight---he fights as naturally as a fish swims, and sometimes that fish is a shark....he was that night...

also, just watch how floyd trains to see why this combo was staggering...look how he hits the punching mitts, and how he shadowboxes...notice how he doesn't really throw fast punches when he shadow boxes...he works primarily on technique and throwing sharp punches....floyd seems to take pride in throwing sharp punches that look crisp and perfectly thrown at all times...no sloppy punches that are just thrown just to try to land...he wants his shots to be pinpoint and look good, which is why he rarely throws sloppy punches, because of how he gets into his stance and how he positions his feet, how he feints, how he rolls his shoulder...his fighting style is the thruth...

so thread starter...don't worry, i don't see anyone coming with a real challenge of a better combination, because i haven't seen one.....
