Olympic boxing needs to be shown in primetime!

I've been watching tapes of Khan and Oscar from the Olympics, and have come to the conclusion that in the US, it needs to be shown in primetime damnit!

Millions watch, no matter what the sport being shown is (even long distance running). What the **** is boxing doing on MSNBC and CNBC? If they get the scoring system worked out, and the US doesn't suck next time around I think it should be in primetime on NBC.

In my eyes this is the only way to create another Oscar De La Hoya or Sugar Ray Leonard type superstar in the US.

Oh, and not having Teddy Atlas ***** and moan while he is commentating would help too.

Absolutely, if this was the case. Boxing would have a couple of mini Stars straight away, and the more well known faces boxing has the better for the sport. I wish i had the money to put into boxing like Roman Abromovich has done with Chelsea FC.
