Who the hell does Freddie Roach think he is?

He starting to sound like a little ****ing diva.

He isn't Manny Pacquiao's manager, he is his trainer. His duties end there.
I don't know who is worst, Roach or Bernstein. Yes they are the best out there right now but I think they've let that get to their head. They have no business in the business aspect of the game. This is what people have promoters and managers for. I'm surprised Pacquiao hasn't told his ass to stfu.

To me it sounds like Roach DOESN'T want this fight. Whether he's afraid or something, I don't know but this is why he throwing out some ridiculous demands for Cotto. At the end of the day it is not up to him to chose who Manny Pacquiao wants to fight, it is up to Manny Pacquiao.

Roach and Pac are in it together - they're both mercenaries, make no mistake, but right now theirs is no average trainer/fighter relationship.

But for his relationship with Manny to work Manny has to trust his decisions and allow Roach access to the business side of things, Pacs manager doesn't know his body like Roach does, he knows Manny from his head to his toes (via his tiny penis) and if he thinks Manny is taking on a big challenge he needs to make sure hes rewarded well for the risk ...

        That said .... Cotto TKO!!!!!

Let em be. If not for Roach, Pac-dela Hoya would not have happened. He even told Pac not to pay him if he lost to Oscar. Roach trains Pac for winnable fights as much as possible, against weakened opponents as possible to protect his fighter, it is his job to advise, even as a friend. But not his decision of course.

            I agree.
Roach should STFU and stick to training Pac.

Wasn't it Larry Merchant's idea of Pac vs DelaHoya to happen?
                Roach is overrated.

Roach is just looking out for his fighter's best interests. It's all about negotiating tactics.

It was Larry`s idea which started it. But in the end, Pac was unwilling to accept 35% and the fight was about to crash, when Roach stepped in.
