You can ***** about the logistics of a catchweight all you want, but a catchweight is not that unreasonable. It was expected, you all knew it was gonna happen.

We were bitching about 143, and rightfully so, saying 145 or no deal. Now we get 145 and we're still bitching about the principal of a catchweight. Catchweights are part of the sport, for better or worse. They've allowed dream fights to happen, I understand that fighting within your division is better, but mega fights like this, especially between guys like Pac and Cotto, are great for the SPORT.

And Cotto is LUCKY it's at 145. Like it or not Pac is the man, if he wanted that **** at 143.5 it would have been at 143.5 or not at all. So instead of continuing to ***** about a catchweight, be happy that it's reasonable as ****.

And props to team Pac for having confidence in their man and not just throwing around their power for the sake of it.

I said if Cotto signed the fight at whatever weight...It was his decision and he knows his own body better then any of us obviously.

catchweights are BS. i hate em. i can live with em if it means making a otherwise impossible fight happen, if it means making a great fight when there isnt any other good options out there. but this is the oposite, its a BS fight i dont want to see. at the same time there 5-6 great matchups for both fighters. ****ing bob arum ****ing everything up..
