Not really good news but Setanta is continuing to be shown where I live, at least it's something.

I hope so, as the alternative is streams for every fight not involving Khan, Hatton, De La Hoya, Wlad or Mayweather :|

Not sure whether Sky Sports will start picking up the boxing again. Makes sense I suppose seeing as they have no one bidding against them anymore

Setanta Sports is still operating in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only
That's a quote from their website you posted earlier.

ITV4 are giving boxing up as well in a year or so aren't they? They should change their mind and pick up were setanta left of.
Sky should just have a combat sports channel ffs. MMA, boxing, thai boxing, even that WWE ****e to get more subscriptions of idiots to fund big fights!!

UK fans don't you fret. Once Setanta is gone, some other existing company or new company will step up and cover boxing.

There is a big market for it there and money is to be made. There is no way it will get ignored. Give it a month or two.

You have promoters right now contacting companies trying to strike deals. It will not all just go away.

You'd be amazed at how underestimated the boxing market in Britain is by all the big wigs

When a fight is properly publicised, people watch it and talk about it everytime without fail. But these people don't seem to want to risk anything on boxing outside of Ricky bloody Hatton and Amir Khan

Yeah that's what they said on their site but I just flicked over to Setanta and theirs rugby and car racing on just now, so it's not finished yet! Probably will be later!
