Thats true, but come on, they have like 2-5 fighters that were almost as great or greater then Manny, they are the 2nd (to Mexico >:P) country with the most champs, sadly the same can't be said about the Phillipines, atleast not yet.

You forget Tito Trinidad. He used to be one of the biggest draws in boxing. A prime Tito would own on Pacquiao as much as I love da Pacman. He was also just as big as Pac back in his prime days. See De La Hoya vs Trinidad. He is basically PR version of Pac since he also had an entire island nation behind him.

the one that should be stopping is you. PR has ATG's, gomez and benitez for example. PR also has had probably 3 or 4 times more champion than PI

PI has tons of potential, especially now that youngsters have boxing fever over there. that's awesome, but get the **** outta here if you're gonna compare those 2 countries in terms of their legacy to boxing
