the same de la Hoya that was going to rematch Mayweather at 147 last September, but when Mayweather retired again, Oscar choose Pacquiao. So it doesn't matter, Oscar was going to fight at 147 at that time last year.

All this weight drain is bull****. I was reported that Oscar went into camp at 145. His plan was to stay light to "try" to keep up with Mayweather/Pacquiao's speed/movement. But, in Oscar fashion, it was a major error to try to keep that weight "throughout" camp.

Oscar was a shot fighter when he fought Mayweather in May 07. Its just that Mayweather is overly defensive and allowed Oscar to look good, allowed Oscar to throw punches because Mayweather is a runner. Manny didn't give Oscar a chance to set up his punches unlike Mayweather.

Point is, Oscar was going to close out his career at 147 against either Floyd or Manny.
