IS it true that SPORTS ILLUSTRATED wants Boxing BANNED???

I heard something along the lines of the owner or president of the magazine speaking out towards this banning of the sport?

This could have taken place a long time ago for all i know, but does anyone have any details on this?

I haven't heard anything about it. Either way it makes no difference to me. It's not like I get any good boxing news out of SI. It's usually obvious news that is months old. Like a picture of Manny Pacquiao and saying he beat Oscar.
