If it wasn't that bad the HBO crew wouldn't have been saying the fight could get stopped do to the cut. Also just cause one man stayed there while he had a cut doesn't change the fact that Cotto's cut was big plus Lewis has been knocked out before by one punch(Rahman) Clottey is different he has a super chin and super defence and is harder to hit especially when you only have one eye. I like Cotto, I once used to defend him more than most people on this site, but his last few fights have changed that. I really do not think he is a warrior. He is a fighter though.

I gotz to agree with this, your a very solid poster Streets but what has made you so sour against Miguel. Was it Cotto's fans or what? I mean, i just dont see how anybody could hate Miguel when he's done nothing but give everybody exciting fights since 2005. The only stinker of a fight has been..probably Urkal.

I don't hate him at all. I just like fighters who are textbook technicians and stick to a plan, or fighters that are warriors and try to fight every round. Cotto really is neither.

Cotto is like Miles Davis. The guy improvises. In the Clottey fight I cant fault him for fighting cautious at times. That cut was brutal.
