Whoever won, and I can't really decide on these two, it would be incredible! If we're talking about a prime Morales, then it's very possible that he takes it, but then Marquez has also slowed a hell of a lot and was much quicker and better defensively than he is now. Really hard choice.

I think Marquez is more likely to beat Morales more convincingly than Barrera was. Morales kind of had the perfect foil for Barrera, by boxing and brawling equally as well, whereas I think Morales struggled against very good counter punchers. A prime Morales (as in the super-bantamweight champion, not the later version that everyone thinks of as prime Morales) was nearly impossible for anyone to beat convincingly though. Of anyone at that time though I think Marquez has the best chance to do it well.

Barrera beat him the first time and I think it would be similar to that. A really close, hard fight but with Marquez maybe just coming out on top, but it's really hard to say with any certainty as Morales was a freak. It's sad that he is only now remembered as the shot guy, who many people still think was near his prime top form, that got blasted out by Pac. Seriously, without any bias, at those weights they fought, prime for prime, Morales wins it every time. He was the perfect foil for Pac. I find it sad hat he is not remembered as that crazy, iron chinned, iron willed SBW great. Incredible fighter, as all these guys are and have become.

Was a clear win for Marquez nonetheless. However, Barerra robbed me of a spectacular KO in the Pacquiao rematch.
