Tough to compare. Cotto is a Welterweight, Vargas a Junior Middleweight.

Would have been a great fight though.

And Vargas had wins over Winky and Ike. Regardless of what you think of the decisions, those are good names on the resume.

As hard as I try this fight is hard to peg. Vargas was vicious when he was younger but always vulnerable. Cotto is a destroyer but I think Vargas' size and jab might give him some trouble.

If Cotto comes out like he did against Tony, he knocks Vargas out because Vargas chin aint close to Tony's chin.

If for some ungodly reason Vargas takes all the shots, then I think Vargas can win a UD or k.o Miguel late.
