It had more to do with Ali's persona than his style of fighting which was extremely tedious in comparison to Smokin Joe.

Do yourself a favour and watch Frazier vs Bonavena 1+ 2 ,Mathis,Ellis,Bugner and both Quarry fights.

Frazier was miles more entertaining that Ali.

I enjoyed watching Joe Frazier, I like his fighting style. Really nice man too, I met him once at the Julio-Smith ESPN fight here in Vancouver.

JOE BOXERS had a 1 hit wonder in the 80's.... Most of Ali's fans woulda probably bought that record.... A fickle pool of shallow ****, unfortunatelly exists within our society...
