The knock on Wlad is never ending....he boxes in a very intelligent manner and one of the best HWs in the world can only land about 9 punches over the course of the fight so ppl say hes boring. If Wlad would have taken risks and eaten some shots, people would say that his D is **** and he is slowing down......He fights smart plain and simple, some ppl find his tactical approach to fights boring but it is effective.

Agreed nothing wrong with him taking that approach for the first 3-4 rounds but when he has a guy hurt and you can tell why not mix it up a bit and try to give the crowd a show....Put some one away for real....Lefty

boxing is about hitting without getting hit back, these are HWs and can knock eachother out with one punch too. nobody is blaming wlad for using his reach and superior boxing skills to get the W. but when a guy is broken, when a guy is ready to go and he just needs to step on the gas a little and he doesnt do it. thats messed up. i mean ive seen guys who dont even want to fight anymore and are looking for a place to lie down and wlad still just jabs at him. its frustrating as hell.

ppl are comparing him to other technical boxers who ppl found exciting, but they all finished when getting the chance. u dont have to look for KOs, but when its right there u have to take it. watching wlad carry a beaten man round after round is a disgrace to the HW title.

Dude if you have to aask this question then you don't know boxing. There haven't been too many HW because like it has been said earlier they can finish you with one punch. Ali was a boxer but when he had you hurt he would flurry and finish the job. Holyfield wasn't a big puncher he boxed just watch the Qawi fight but when he had you hurt he would try to finish you. Larry Holmes had a terrifc jab and tremendous boxing skills but he would finish the job and go for blood if he knew you were hurt. There are many more in the lower weight classes Oscar was one of them look at how he went from broke against Vargas.....Lefty

That doesnt explain why he doesn't go in for the kill when his man is ready. He carried Chagaev for 5 rounds longer than it shoudlve gone.

the first brewster fight he blew his load trying to ko the man...then he got tired and brewster was still standing...remember the saying"never make the same mistake twice??"and he hasnt and thats why he hasnt lost since....so stop the complaining.....thats whys he's the heavyweight champ and we are just spectators

Yep. It may not be the most exciting to watch since he never even gets hit, but he is as effective as anyone out there right now. Chin and stamina are why he fights the way he does. Everyone knows it. People complain because they want him to open up and get caught or get tired and get caught and lose. They just get pissed when he doesnt.
