Victor Ortiz: A Boxer's story (video)

I think I've posted this before but I just watched it again so figured I would post it. This is pretty old, but it's still a very interesting video about Victor Ortiz. Ortiz is a beast, looking forward to his fight next week!

Yea man I found it real interesting.

It's cool now looking at it because he is on the verge of becoming a world champion, his fight Saturday is for an interim title. In the video he talks about how he'll be there one day. Nice to see someone set goals, pursue them, and achieve them.

Call me crazy, but, the way Ortiz throws his punches, especially the right hook and the way he throws from angles, kinda reminds me of Roy Jones Jr minus the flashiness

          Can anybody else see that?

Vic Ortiz is my favourite up and coming fighter. He is on the cusp of winning the world title and he will win it.

The thing I like about Ortiz is the way he just goes for it,and with skills and power like that he is truly a force to be reckoned with. he is gonna take us on a roller coaster ride though!

He is like a 140 lb Nigel Benn!!

Are you sure? I think he lost before then.

Regardless, in the pros, Ortiz will KO Khan if it ever happens in my opinion. Fight will be 3x as long, no headgear, smaller gloves, no standing 8 counts...
