      pac is at 140.

      cotto is at 147.

143.5 is right in the middle.

      143-144 is fair to both.

that said......i think pac can beat cotto at 147 so i don't care if it's at 147.

this fight is a done deal almost. arum is just waiting to see if floyd wants to make a better offer.

the fight will get done at 144 probably so there is no point in arguing.

This is all a set up for an excuse if Cotto loses. They've laid the groundwork for defending the loss.

Whatever they sign at, I am game for.

Both sides have built in excuses for the loss already. If Pac loses, Cotto is too big. If Cotto loses, he was weight drained.

catchweights are fine as long as they are fair for both sides.

            you know what's funny?

1 year ago after manny won his 135 belt , if you were to say cotto-pac at 140........all the cotto guys would have NO problem with it.

i remember a few discussions about it and the cotto guys had no problem with it.

cotto was just too big and too strong for manny even at 140. easy win. manny is just a blown up featherweight and cotto is no diaz.

now? the fight should be at 147.

it's unfair for a lightweight to make cotto drop 2-3 lbs. lmao

I think it's you that is embarrassing.

Anyway, why is it OK for a little man like Pac to move up but Cotto dropping down 2lbs ,fans are crying like he's going to lose??

                  I like Cotto btw.
