why pac can beat cotto at any weight.

pac has fought better technical opponents than cotto. to say cotto will outbox pac is a far stretch. pac has been in their with morales marquez and barrera who are all better technically than cotto. the only advantage cotto has is his size. however pac has shown throughout his career moving through 7 weight divisions that speed can overcome size. the other point i wanted to make is that cotto is a left hander that fights orthodox. his best weapons are his left jab, left hook and left to the body. pac already knows hows to counter these moves through fighting oscar and hatton. oscar had a great left jab and left hook, and hatton had a great left hook to the body.

has cotto faced an opponent that brings speed, skill, stamina and determination the way pac does. cottos stamina has been questioned lately, and we all know pac fights every minute of every round. how is cotto going to be able to handle the fast pace that pac sets in every fight?

this is my opinion but i am not underestimating cotto because he deserves to be up there with the best because he has always fought the best and never ran from a challenge. all i am doing is giving my opinion on why pac has a great chance in the midst of all these cotto pro fans claiming different.

i agree that if the fight is under 147 then it should not be for the belt. however, pac is the p4p1 and the draw, so if any fighter should concede a little then it should be his opponent.

Is funny you see it that way when PACMAN trainer dont want Cotto at his most effetive weight, 147.

IF pac can beat cotto at any weight, Why not fight Cotto at WW then???

If he really could, than Pacquiao would say **** off Roach and fight Cotto at 147 or even possibly 145. Roach wants to get Cotto to go down to 143 and possibly even lower, from what I hear from roach he says the lower the better...

In my opinion Cotto would knock Pac for 6 at 147

First of all, cotto probably isnt the same fighter he was prior to margarito.

Secondly If he cant pin manny down in this fight he is gonna get really hurt, at distance, he prolly wont see the shots coming, so he needs to be in close with manny to get leverage on those left hooks. If cotto can set set long enough to land on manny, manny's going home in a bodybag, if manny can stay off the ropes and find space in the ring, cotto's gonna get cut and potshotted.

Manny isnt great moving backwards and cotto aint a reckless one dimensional fighter like hatton, but if manny can find that distance, cotto is gonna get hurt.
