Listen, anybody who judges Cotto's chances against Pacquiao based on this fight are insane. Clottey's built like a tank, I don't think he's ever been knocked out or even knocked down before this fight. Mosley has an iron chin, Margarito's really a junior middle who was doing God knows what in his fight with Cotto. If you want to make the argument that Pacquiao will be too fast and take Cotto out before he throws anything, fine, but if he gets hit by Cotto consistently, I doubt he's taking it like Mosley or Clottey.
cotto fans are scared.. even if this fight is at 143, cotto would outweigh pac by atleast ten pounds...... roach is doing all he can to minimize the weight difference. or hoping that cotto would be weight drained. either way, this is a move to give packy the best possible chance to win. very clever i must admit.
but this fight should be at 147 if its for the welterweight belt...

11. Instead of a sitting on a stool between rounds the opponent must lift weights between rounds.
12. The fighters trainer cannot call me Freddie the joke coach Roach
By insisting on catch weights, Freddie and Manny are only re-confirming that Manny cannot fight and beat the top welters in their respective divisions.
Even though.....
It has already been confirmed that Manny has outweighed his opponents in the past by 5 or more pounds on fight night, essentially fighting in a different weight class than what he "officially" weighed the day before.
He looked spectacular as a welter weight. Why doesn't he stay there?
At least Mosley is willing to fight for bread crumbs (literally and figuratively) in a direct challenge to the p4p king.
