With the WBA keeping Chagaev as 'The Champion In Recess' does this mean if Wlad beats Valuev to become WBA champion, he would have to beat Chagaev AGAIN to become the proper WBA champion? This is ridiculous!

WBA is ridiculous. But in the Heavyweight scene it's not even needed right now so there's no point complaining.

I've said for a long time that the WBA is the worst sanctioning body, by far.

This just proves it moreso.

They know that Wladimir Klitschko will kill Valuev if he ever fights him, so they kept the belt with Chagaev, so Wladimir couldn't force the match through the title.
