wlad deserves respect

You people simply don't get it. It isn't about that, I'm sure we all understand that the H.W division is weak. Has alot more to with his fighting style. Why you think HBO don't want anything to do with Wlad? I'm tired of seeing the same crap over and over and I surprised people are trying to give him a pass. When Mayweather is boring, I'll admit he is boring. Fact is, Wlad is on top the H.W division, a division people once loved and regardless of the kind of opposition he is facing, be it good or bad, dude is boring. Did you see how much bigger he was then his opponent? Wlad should have taken him out early.

Tyson didn't beat good opposition coming up and people were all over the guy. All I'm saying.

i agree but u always get the feeling someone will do better than just STAND THERE. I mean WTF is up with his opponents? i think he should fight haye... someone with much better footwork, someone who would rather go to war and press the fight even if he could get caught in a counter rather than wait to be slowly destroyed catching punches in the face.

people always criticize him for having a weak chin. i think he has perfected a style of fighting that, while not the most exciting thing to watch, keeps his opponents from being able to use that vulnerability to their advantage. in my opinion, it's smart and he should get credit for it. unfortunately, he gets criticized for that as well.

Ruslan was announced as being in recess, in other words, past his best and an unworthy challenger. Who has Ruslan beat, Ruiz and Valuev, wow. His last 2 fights were decisions against somebody called drummond and matt skelton. Yeah a real killer there. The guy has been ruled medically unfit to fight, and yet Wlad gets a free pass to duck the number 2 ranked fighter to fight this guy for the ring belt!

Wlad is not THE champ either. Valuev holds a title, Chagaev hold his in reccess title and Vitali holds the WBC and a greater claim to the lineage of THE title. Wlad has to became Undisputed champion to be lineal because he hasnt fought the lineal champ therefore has to undisputedly create one by beating the number 2 contender at least.

i also believe that he doesn't get enough credit for his jab. it can't be a coincidence that his recent fights have all looked identical and his opponents just go in there to stand around. i'm sure these guys want to get in and do some damage, but none of them can get by his jab.
