Yes... but before that he beat a crap out of both Ruiz and Valuev. He also derailed Valuev's embarrassing run to beat Marciano's record. That's quite an accomplishment.

A pretty good performance by Wlad who finally unsheathed his right hand. Too bad he's such a headhunter (I didn't see him throw a single body shot), but it works for him. I think I saw him throw one uppercut though, which was a surprise. Povetkin, Arreola or Haye would make for potentially good fights, but I don't see any of them beating Klitschko or even being competitive.

Wlad was ready to easily KO Haye today.

I think Haye knew Wlad would be at his best, and that was at least part of the reason he pulled out.

                Haye will k.o Wlad.

Haye punked Wlad in front of people on an escalator. Doesn't seem like someone afraid of your idol to me.

Why should you go for the body, if it is at the same height as your knee?

And, Wladimir was working to the body and throwing uppercuts in the fight with Thompson!

Come on, I give Wlad props but no way did Haye pull out a fight he had to beg for, because he knew Wlad would be 'at his best'.

Haye was ready and waiting for Wlad. The reason he pulled out is quite obviously due to injury or Setantas money problems. Both legitimate reasons to pull out. Now he has to get in line and earn his shot. But make no doubt that Haye is 10x more dangerous than Chagaev. He might not last long in a fight against Wlad, but he will give him huge problems while it lasts.

Anyway, well done to Wlad for beating a solid opponent. But I want to know how he will deal with the fastest and most dangerous in shape heavyweight out there...his name is David Haye. Even you have to admit Tunney that a Wlad - Haye fight is huge for the HW division. The fight last night was a show of technicality. I want to see Wlad dragged in to the trenches to show what he is made of.
