Even JMM won't fight Cotto at 147 and Nacho won't allow it, the reason why PBF-JMM agreed at 144lbs...so what are you whining about you hypocrite!?
So a fair Fight for you is a 148lbs man versus a 160+ man come fight night? WOW!It's a fair fight at 147, the thing is Pacquiao and his team don't want this to be a fair fight, they want an advantage coming in to the fight now since they have a lot of leverage.
That's why Salud was talking **** before Cotto even fought Clottey, saying it's an easy fight at 144. They know wtf they are doing.
a 144 Cotto at weigh-in will be a 154+ Cotto at fight time
a 144 Pac at weigh in will be a 147-149 Pac at fight time
so who has the advantage? who has the leverage then?Comment

**** incentive, that 1 pound less could effect his performance negatively on fight night. Hopkins barely threw any punches when De La Hoya forced him down 2 pounds (mind you it still wasn't the Hopkins we know today that throws less than 40 a round).
Losing 2 pounds is a ton for most boxers, Margarito looked like **** at 145, I don't want to see a garbage one sided fight because Cotto is lethargic from that damn extra pound.
Yes, it'd be a fair fight. You and I both know Cotto will be getting hit a ton and he will need to be at 100% to take those punches and stay on his feet.
The thing is, I want to see the best fight possible, y'all just want your guy to win while getting full credit at any cost.Comment

You probably meant affect, then if 1 pound matters much to you, why don't you ask Cotto then, the one and only authority when it comes to his body. If he agrees with you, then tell him not to sign the fight, it's as easy as that.
You can say **** incentive, but can Miguel Cotto say that too?Comment

They worked both ways, check out the Pacman will get ktfo threads out there, it's a dime a dozen. You're just choosing the lesser of two evils by siding with the Cotto stans...Comment

So an extra 10-15 pound advantage is necessary for Cotto to be able to win against Pacquiao? wow, what a way to degrade your own.**** incentive, that 1 pound less could effect his performance negatively on fight night. Pacquiao does not even have to win to have credit in this fight can you imagine that? Pac again will face a bigger fighter, it's a bit suicidal.
And please... I was first a Cotto fan before I became a real Pacquiao fan.
I like this fight but I think it's much dangerous for Pacquiao.
