Floyd just lost a fan.

I respect that, I will always be a fan of him... but I will admit in being dissapointed if he don't fight Cotto or Mosley, always will be a fan though.
At 130-135 he fought the absolute best, and he shown to be a great fighter by tearing them apart... plus you can tell by his technique and ring smarts.
The guy has the pure talent alone to have the potential to be top 10 ATG in my opinion, and I think if he fought the top WW out there and got some huge names on his resume he could crack top 15...Comment

I think Floyd relies more on his technique and ring smarts like you said textbook skills... Roy relied more on his athletic ability...Comment

Most definitely...
It's been like that w me for awhile though... but i still wont let people hate on him for no reason at all... i stay unbiased with floyd.. i just choose not to like his characterComment

His quality of opposition isn't "poor." It's common exaggerations like this that I was referring to.
I think skill or raw talent are transparent qualities that are easily detectable. It's often very apparent in any sport when you know you're watching someone special.Comment
