Why is it we get into crazy convo's about Boxing and defend out fighters?

got into afew arguements tonight about the sport and people got wound up about Cotto fighting Pacquiao. It is crazy how some people think, had one lad sayin if Pacquiao beats Cotto I gotta let him punch me in the face.

I don't think the is another sport were fans are so devided and wanna argue with you over a certain fighter than Boxing.

i love this site..all my friends follow other sports like football, maybe becuz i live in san diego, or baseball or basketball...i swear when i try to talk to them about boxing its like someone trying to talk to a ****** about sex it just doesn't go anywhere...but yeah boxing will always leave ppl with many opinions especially because every fighter wont face each other and all these alphabet belts!!!!!!!!!!

I can't talk to many people about Boxing where I am from... only 1 guy I know is really into Boxing as much as I am... and a few at the gym I train at but I don't see then day to day.

Most people where I live apart from that one guy don't know what there talking about to be honest, they mainly follow football...

Thanfully, I'm a member of a local boxing gym. I can talk about boxing to them but most aren't fanatics. I don't consider myself a fanatic but boxing is my main sport that I fallow and actually practice but I also like soccer and golf.

There is no other sport like boxing.
