Another foot-in-mouth statement from our friend Roger. Hahaha... JAT

Roger Mayweather, the uncle and trainer of former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr., thinks Miguel Cotto may pose problems to international superstar Manny Pacquiao because of his size.
“Cotto is a little too physical for him, too strong,” said Roger. “Pacquiao is smaller.”
Roger said that even if Pacquiao and Cotto agree to duel in a catch weight, the Puerto Rican may still come in bigger come fight night.

Yeah, I don't see how it is either. Compared to some of the silly **** that's come out of Roger's mouth, this is actually quite a neutral comment.

Lady Fan, you make it more and more clear every thread you make that your not a Boxing fan... your just a Pacquiao fan. How was this a foot in mouth statement? He didn't even say that Cotto would win, he even said a Pacquiao win would be the best option to set up Floyd vs Pacquiao... all he said was because of Cotto's size advantage he could pose a threat because he is physically a lot bigger than him.

He didn't say he would win, he didn't say he would lose... he just said that it could be classed as posing a threat towards him. How was this a foot in mouth statement?

If the fight is at 147 it would be clear that Cotto would pose the physical advantage because of his fight night weight, it wasn't a ****** statement. If the fight is at anything under 147 though I don't think he will have much of an advantage at all though because I am unsure whether Cotto will be fighting fit at anything below 147, he could be dehydrated or weight drained.
