Cotto vs. Pac; Arum benefits the most if who wins?

Who do ya'll think will fatten Arum's pockets the most IN THE LONG RUN by winning this fight? While many people claim Arum is looking for the easiest opponent for pacman to defeat, I think Arum really wants Cotto to win this fight. Now, before you call me crazy or ******, riddle me this... WHO will stick around longer, for the most fights after this one? the answer, Cotto... Manny has already stated that he is fighting NO MORE than twice, maybe thrice... After Cotto, the only fight he really wants/needs to prove he is the best fighter of all time if mayweather..... if he can't get mayweather, which i personally dont think will ever come to fruition, due to greed and pride.... then HE MIGHT fight mosley, valero, or rematch marquez(the most doubtful, haha manny is running scared of the TRUE pound for pound king)..... after cotto, I HOPE AND PRAY he gets mayweather.... and if he beats mayweather i personally see him walking into the sunset... if he loses to mayweather, i can;t see him going out like that, and i think he will fight one more time....

Cotto, on the other hand has AT LEAST ten more fights left, probably more... And if Cotto beats manny, he is the next oscar de la hoya... Cotto still has some welters left to clear out, and then he will clean house at jr middleweight.... i dont think he will go to MW, ever, though...

Bottom line: Arum makes wayy more money in the long run from a cotto upset.. and Arum knows that even if cotto loses to manny, as long as he doesnt get hatton'ed in two rounds, or made out to look like a fool, his stock goes up.... all cotto has to do is APPEAR to be somewhat effective, and his stock goes way way up....

Agree with me? for the same reasons? OR, more than likely, you simple minded fools are not clever enough to analyze the situation as I have... haha, all you fewlz think is now, now, now, who can make the most money in the next fight or two.. don't put the big picture into perspective...

Seems like he's tryin to keep Cotto happy by feedin Pac to him. Arum comes off much more worried about Cotto than Pac.

I'm not agree. Arum interest is present and not long runs. Obviously right know the money is Pacquiao. I'm sure he'll be interested more in 2 mega fights with Pacquiao, than 10 good fights with Cotto. The only thing that this people care is about money. Why do you think that Cotto won his last fight in a controversial decision? All about money my friend. Cotto is a hundred times more marketable than Clottey and the best option for Arum to continue making money.

If Cotto wins he benefits more...People will say it was amazing that PACMAN was able to do what he did and eventually he was going to run into a bigger figher who could beat him. He will go back to 140 and dominate there against Bradley, Holt, Campbell and who ever else wants it maybe even Marquez III? Cotto wins goes back to 147 rematches with Shane or Margarito are both possible. If PAC wins by decision not KO then it is a win win for Arum Cotto can either have rematch with PAC or fight either of the two I mentioned. PAC will most likely fight Mayweather if that fight could be made. As long as Cotto don't lose by devastating KO Arum won't lose out on Cotto.....Lefty

          pacquiao is retiring soon.

rumors in philippines is this might be his last fight.

cotto's contract with arum is ending soon as well.

i don't think arum is rooting for either fighter in this fight.

it's just a big money fight where he promotes both fighters and makes good money from.

unless cotto resigns with arum because arum got him a big money fight with pacquiao , this doesn't benefit arum much in the long run.

it's a good deal that benefits both fighters and the promoter.

it's a big money fight and since both guys are arum's boys , uncle bob makes good money.

for pacquiao , he gets a chance at a title in a 7th division plus the money will be good.

for cotto , the money will be the most he's ever made and it gets his name out there. if he wins , cotto becomes a big star.

cotto is fighting for 2 more yrs, i think arum is trying to keep his 2 warriors on the top of the sport, if this fight is close i wouldnt be surprised if this is the next TRILOGY. for the real boxing fan this the best fight outthere, cuz floyd aint doing shiet.

RRICAN, that is some damn good critical thinking there.... I never even thought of hte possibility of it being such a good, close, exciting, profitable fight that a rematch would be in order, and then even a possible trilogy.... that would obviously be the best outcome for Arum, who is essentially single handedly running pac's career.... nice input there RRICAN....

Cotto said he is going to retire in 18 months, so he has 2, maybe 3 fights left before hes gone.
