The first Mosley DLH fight got killed by the Vargas/DLH PPV. Also the only reason why their 2nd fight did SLIGHTLY BETTER was due to the hype DLH had after the Vargas victory.

Perhaps Mosley-Pac would generate more money since Mosley is a bigger name. However, Cotto is a Top Rank fighter and there has to be some financial incentives beyond just simply total numbers at the gate and PPV since they would both be "in house" fighters. In other words, there isn't a cut going to Golden Boy. You also have to look at things in the long term. This fight would make Cotto a household name which means bigger paydays in the future for him as well. I think all of this combined ultimately makes Cotto the better choice from a business standpoint.

cotto draws more, mosley has the better resume. shane has basically lost all the momentum from his win vs margarito. He shouldve had fought again & kept his name in the fold. instead he's been idle since the margs fight trying to land a megafight. People have almost forgotten his win vs margarito. Shane needs to just give up on the pac fight for now & go fight berto.

Win that fight in dominating, entertaining fashion, pick up the wbc belt add it with your wba belt & put yourself in better position to get a megafight after pac vs cotto happens. He's not doing his resume, reputation, & bank account any favors with this inactivity.

Mosley doesn't sell jack like you claim him to be. Just like Mayweather/Hopkins, he needs someone with a name to sell, they can't sell on their own. Unlike other boxers.

This reminds me Mosley vs Marg got 2 million views on BO, while Cotto Clottey got 1.6 mill. The only problem is HBO was giving out a free weekend preview last week, which means even though HBO was totally free last week with no subscription needed Mosley still got more viewers eben though a suscription was needed then.
