You know Cotto deserves credit for the Clottey win.

Clottey reminds me of Sakio Bika, in that he is the sort of guy you really dont want as your manditory, remember how Bika gave Joe Calzaghe a tough time of it? Those guys are bulls, make no mistake, the best you can really hope for is to get by them unharmed, also they dont have a huge fan following so its not heralded as a big win, but its admirable nonetheless.

Saikio Bika isn't on Clottey's level. Don't get it twisted.

No, I'm not saying they are on the same level, but they are simmilar in that they are both very strong and tough fighters

Calzaghe vs Bika wasn't a close fight. I had it like 8-4 or 9-3 Calzaghe if I remembered correctly. Bika made the fight a dirty mess, but it wasn't close on the score-cards, atleast on my score-card.

Cotto should mos def get some props for the win. Cats who thought he'd own Clottey were trippin. Clottey coulda gotten that fight by 1 point too.

I don't know... I still don't like the decision. Props to Cotto for pulling through, but with the three fouls and the 45-50 more punches Clottey landed and the more effective punching... I can't really say he deserves it. Clottey took it to him.

Outside of NY he doesn't get that decision.

Why should I give Cotto props if I think he didn't deserve the fight that was gifted to him?

Gifts are fights that aren't close! Besides that, Cotto was the bigger name and clearly has the bigger fan-base! Of course he would be favored to get the win in a close fight. But you're one of those bizarre posters who can't admit it was a close fight...

Are you one of those nutters who are still crying about the close fight Pacquiao/Marquez 2?

If you don't think he won then that is fine, but it wasn't a "gift". The fight could have gone either way.
