I like bhop but comon, really? It was Joe's first fight in America period and his first fight at light heavy. Had he acclimated properly and been more comfortable fighting in front of a US crowd, bhop would have been even more clearly slapped as it has been put. Bernard faked being hurt by a legit slap to the cup that Joe put no power whatsoever on to capitalize on a 5 minute breather.

He tried that tactic several times during the fight while to most it was obvious that he was being outworked by the faster guy. Granted, Bernard landed several telling blows, they were few and far between and Joe had Hopkins fighting HIS fight from the mid rds on. That was what won the fight for Joe, it was too obvious that BHOP was uncomfortable in a fight for the first time in a long time.

We see how well he does when he feels comfortable in there- the Pavlik fight is a prime example and granted, Pavlik was fighting at a weight that he had never fought at either and did not carry the weight well nor maintain his speed.

Besides the two or three good punches that RJJ landed on him, Calzaghe showed us fans what kind of pressure and speed he has when he is properly adjusted at a weight.

        just my opinions

The **** does "exactly the time of idiot" mean? And you call me an idiot?!!

I'm not a kid, I'm most probably older than you.

I think that's how people feel about Joe's career, too.

Whatever. This topic has been beaten to death. History will speak.
