I want to answer the question of why Cotto hasn't fought Williams. The story goes something like this:

Paul Williams calls Cotto out. Miguel Cotto signed to fight Mosley. Paul Williams signed to defend against Quintana. Miguel Cotto fights Mosley and wins. On an interview in El Nuevo Dia when Miguel cotto was asked about Paul Williams he "I would love to fight Paul Williams but he shouldn't sleep on Quintana, if he wins I would love to fight him". Paul Williams lost. Cotto signed to fight Alfonso Gomez, he won, he signed to fight Margarito, he got beaten. Paul Williams moved up to fight Andy Kolle. Miguel Cotto needed a confidence booster and time to rest. Paul Williams fights Verno Phillips, and vacates. Cotto gets his confidence booster. Williams fights Wright and right now is campaining as a middleweight, not a welterweight but at middleweight.

So Williams pretty much blew of his chances by losing to Quintana.

I respect Cotto and like him even more after the performance in this last fight but.....

I don't think he can beat Mayweather or Pacquiao. Of course that's assuming that Mayweather comes in the same as he did when he last fought DLH. THAT Mayweather beats Cotto all day long.

DLH put on a great effort when he fought Mayweather to a dec loss and sorry to tell you guys but Cotto isn't half the boxer DLH was even 2-3 years ago.

Now, if Mayweather has lost something in the last 2 years of being inactive, then I think Cotto might be able to get to him but that's why I wanted to see this fight with JMM, just to see where Mayweather was physically after the layoff.
