there is no double standard or conspiracy theories against floyd
what's with you guys crying about -
"when floyd does what cotto does its running?"
"how come cotto can fight pacquiao and floyd can't?"
maybe its because cotto is an active fighter and he fights everyone. he doesnt fight people based on there following, there ppv sales, what they bring to the table or how many bentleys they have in the stable. he simply fights everyone and anyone they throw at him without him retiring, making excuses or turning people down.
people ***** about floyd fighting jmm because floyd makes outlandish claims like, "i could ko jesus and his 12 disciples with a jab" and "i'm the greatest boxer ever, i could sell out a ppv in msg just by throwing money at the camera for three straight hours". floyd has talked himself up to being the end all be all of boxing when clearly he isn't.
floyd can talk all he wants about peoples losses, there inability to sell ppvs, but that doesn't answer the question we all have about how he would do against them in the ring. which is all boxing fans really care about. **** this days of our lives drama that boxing is becoming with people bitching about pennies, venues, glove sizes, judges and so on and so forth. people just want to see good fights against tough/real competition.
sure it might have just been the floyd haters on here at first criticizing him and his resume but it seems apparently the word has spread like wildfire that floyd hasn't been fighting who he should be fighting and that there are much more entertaining, difficult, fights he could be getting himself into rather than trying to coast along using the followings of other smaller fighters to sell ppvs.
