but who is there to fight? all I can think of besides JMM would be Khan or Witter.

**and if Hatton continues, odds are he's not smart enough to retire on the above win and would try for a 3rd crack at Pound for Pound #1.

Not really, Hatton would still beat most fighters despite being past prime.

Ricky's way too rich and important to become a gatekeeper/prospect tester

Hatton is in no position and never will be to challenge another P4P title.

A win over any of Bradley, Campbell, Marquez, Khan or Witter are all decent retirement fights for Ricky Hatton. I think he is pretty capable of beating them given the fact that they are not super fast like Mayweather and Pacquiao(Maybe Khan;says Roach). Marquez may beat Hatton out of that bunch.

Wouldn't blame him if he was to fight one more time just so it doesn't end his career on a loss. Id like to see Khan Vs Hatton!

Hattons two biggest weapons were pride & heart... Both have been destroyed... This creates a motion of no confidence... He's beat before he gets in there... Add all of this to no particular trainer, a carpet fitter as your manager & 20,000,000 in the bank... Why? What real reason would a 30 year old who has constantly f**ked about with his diet be able to compete at top level.. It was over the day Billy Graham got shown the door... I for one, won't sit down & bother to watch him get KTFO...
Just for the record, I love Hat & predicted him to upset Pac.... I'm not bitter... Mine's a Guiness!

he can play very competetively at 147 - 160, and he's considered by many as "the most avoided fighter in the world" today!
The one who was really avoid was Joshua Clottey. Clottey asked him to fight but to no avail no answer.
