I am perfectly sane. It wasnt meant to be a serious thread. Just wanted to point out that Butterbean had been boxing's freakshow act long before anybody knew who Kimbo Slice was. Butterbean was a really big draw in boxing. But real fans knew he really wasnt going to accomplish anything in the heavyweight division. Just as kimbo was popular for no apparent reason. real mma fans knew he was just a sideshow.

Butterbean was always a sideshow, kimbo slice was the face of a promotion and was promoted as being legit, this post makes absolutely no sense. The sport has been around too long, something close to that would be maybe someone like primo carnera, but even he won the heavyweight title. Either way this thread makes little sense unless youve only been around the sport say, 3 years.

"Real MMA" fans is quite a term, again, the sport has a very short history in the united states, butterbean, even among casuals, was nothing more than a sideshow, anythign else but the contrary was never assumed by anyone with half a brain.
