Remember that famous sparring war between PAC and Urbano Antillon, lol

Well, I found clips of that famous sparring war story we all READ about. It was sparring alright, but a war, far from it.

I knew there was something fishy about the whole Antillon was giving PAC all kinds of hell in sparring. I've seen Antillon fights and I've also seen PAC fights and that alone told me that the stories of their sparring session were nothing but tall tales and had to be told to hype up the fight with Flattened.

Anyway, without further adieu. Just go to yout*be and type in Manny Pacquiao completes 80 sparring rounds . It's in tagalog so fast forward it to 32 sec.BS is not allowing me to upload any vids, sorry guys.

Ehhh....heavily edited to Pacquiao highlights. From what I saw Antillon was able to get inside on a couple of occasions. Whether he was able to do anything while he was there or not we wouldnt know.

Psst, bro, what f**kin' video were you watching? Okay, on the vid there's only two scenes where it involved Antillon. The first one was at the 37 second mark and the other was at the 1:37 mark. Where in those clips can you point out that Antillon was able to get in?

PAC kept turnin' his @ss, yes, you're right it was edited, but I just can't imagine Antillon really being able to go tit for tat with PAC with consistency, they're simply on two different levels and PAC currently is on a level above everybody else in boxing!

Sure, I can see Antillon having his moments with PAC but that's about it(more like PAC allowing Antillon to get his punches as a way of conditioning himself).

Have you seen Urbano's sparring sessions with Valero? That alone tells ya Antillon's level of talent. Valero is the closest thing to PAC's style minus the God given speed.

You're really stretching.. you cant evaluate their sparring sessions based on a few seconds of edited video in a pro pac piece. Multiple reporters have reported on their sparring and even Roach said Antillon was his toughest sparring partner. Antillon has improved in the past few years since his sessions with Valero

Yeah, Valero-Antillon sparring was ages ago. Valero had only gotten 12 fights under his belt by that time. I don't think too much can be read into that session because both fighters have improved. Antillon is a good fighter. He should be able to get inside and pose a couple of problems for Pacquiao. This is a good thing as it will have pushed Manny harder, but no way is he on the same level as Pacquiao. In a real fight he would not beat him.

You have a point, but, I'd still rather go with what I see than what people have said. Hey, I believe Roach when he says Antillon was his toughest, then again, look who the rest of his sparring partners were, a bunch of dudes with an average of 12 fights, lol.
