He does deserve more, but he just does not have a big enough fanbase to bargain more. The only way for him to get a big piece of the pie is to be in the position where he has what someone else wants.

If he would have got the decision over Cotto, then in a rematch his purse would have probably doubled.

That Million+ payday was probably the biggest of his career so far though.
