I would say Floyd has the better resume more because its his fourth weight. If Cotto went to 160 and beat the Ring champ and the sucessor of the Ring belt surely his resume would be better than many others there.

im talking about resume at welter? i think cotto is the better welterweight because he's beaten the tougher opposition at 147, and he doesn't tell 135 pounders to go up to him and fight. he fought 3 people floyd wouldn't dream facing at 147, mosley, margarito, and clottey.

              The ***** is overrated.

He has yet to even win a title...all he does is squat on vacated belts.

They are incomparable. When Cotto has critics breathing down his neck to fight the top 160(That would be his 4th Weight class) fighters, and has at least 1 win at 168(5th Weight class), only then you can compare them. Until then, only Floyd and Manny can be compared to each other because they are the most versatile active fighters right now, weight-class wise.

deja troll, whenever cotto has been lined up to fight a champion, except plaster master, the ibf has taken their belts beforehand. are you saying that baldomir ( which had a belt ) is better than mosley and clottey?

and titles dont mean squat these days to be honest. the most "respected" belt out there is the WBC. who's the wbc 147 champion? ? //////........,,,,,,berto. berto. berto blows, he's a B- fighter. belts al lthey do is add politics to the sport, cotto, since he's beaten quintana judah gomez urkal mosley and clottey at 147, he's beaten more top 5 welters than Mosley, makes him the better welterweight ad most accomplished. cry little girls. cotto would demolish berto.
