Who would you like to see the old man retire against? Who would be better for Hopkins legacy? Who would provide the tougher challenge?
Tomasz Adamek 37-1. Holds the IBF Cruiserweight belt and the Ring Belt. Hopkins would have to move up in weight at age 45, Adamek would weigh in right under 200 pounds.
Carl Froch 25-0, 20KO's. Holds the WBC Super Middleweight crown. Hopkins would have to go down in weight from 175 to 168.
A win against either would make Hopkins a champ in three different weight classes. Against Adamek it would be a third Ring Title in as many weight classes.
