just rewatched lewis vs. klitschko

been a long time since ive seen this fight. IMO this was the LAST great heavyweight title fight. Anyone who has ever questioned the chin/resolve/heart of either of these men needs their head examined. When klits got the cut, lewis smelled blood and knew he had to get him out of there b/c he was losing. would have loved to see a rematch.

unfortunately, i dont feel wlad is on the same level as vitali. i think wlad is simply number one right now because they never fought. no way he has his brothers resolve. sure would be nice to see them fight someday.

its crazy to see the look on lewis' face at the end of the fight. he knew he had been in a war and may have lost. I dunno if he didnt train properly or just got old overnight. I know he was training for Kirk Johnson(haha) so maybe thats why he was lacking in training? the world may never know

Wladimir v Sam Peter was a great fight aswell,Wlad showed everyone that despite the crap chin he has a great heart.

Lewis knew he was lucky that fight and was right to retire because Vitali had him beat.

How was that a good fight?

All Wlad would do was punch, then grab peter, one punch, grab peter.

As a lewis fan, and someone who is warming to the klitschkos i think really that fight was a draw, there was no clear winner, Lewis looked blown up, Klitschko looked like a car crash victim, both had the ability to pull something out of the bag, Its a shame we never found out what would have happened, theres only speculation really.
