thats what arum had said,,but i guess they want to get as much money as they can,,chavez has been asking for better comp. but his handlers don't want him to...i think the perfect opponents for jr could be cintron, vanes martirsyan, someone like that...i think either will ko jr anyways

Jr. will never be nothing more than Sr.s' shadow until he steps up and fights someone of distinction.Only problem with that is that he's perceived as being a novelty (son of a legend) act.Vanes would beat him & Cintron would probably destroy'em.But if respect is what he wants, then he should pull up his pants like a big boy & take his lumps like a man. That's the only way he'll get respect, win or lose, only way.Now to Gamboa.Who is this guy really?Great amateur, olympic gold,Cuban defector, yea I heard that;but really though?Interim champ at featherweight with only 16 pro fights?I've seen this dude fight and he's good don't get me wrong but,I've also seen some flaws in his game. The 126lb-130lb divisions are pretty darn good at the moment and there are quite a few guys that I think would like a chance to expose him. When he finally steps up is when we'll see just how well his suspect chin holds up.He hasn't been hit by world class power yet,but when he does I think he'll fold like chair. The next Big Thing will become the latest "whatever happened to" hype job.John,Vazquez,Juarez,Yordan,Soto,Linares,Baloyi ,Guerrero, hell even Barrios! To mention a few. He's gonna have to step up some time.Till then....,just another side show like Jr.

That just shows you the faith Arum has in him. Once he gets exposed, its all over.
