I hear you larry loud and clear...I meanit is what it is my man you hating on me to the point of putting my name in your sig.....now every where you go I will always be with you ha ha......Anyway back to the subject at hand he sold way more then 300 tickets as the TS said....the 3000 number was not put out by a source that has exact numbers but I do not doubt that ticket sales are down the economy is crap and like I said no one wants to pay 150+ to see Floyd dance his way to a UD....This doesnt mean the PPV #'s would be terrible fellas... I know a few of my friends who would chip down with me to shell out $50 to see Judah Floyd and JMM on the same night....The card was not bad all in all.....Lefty
There is no proof Floyd did 300 sales!

Agree with this thread....but I noticed something in your comments....The man in your avatar had no class in life..he once said that Rocky marciano couldn't carry his jock strap....that being said I was glad to see Tyson destroy his trash talking flabby ass......If Floyd only sold 300 tickets like the TS said then he has more problems then a F@G in a WH@RE HOUSE.....regardless of how many tickets he sold it is what it is the economy is crap and people aren't going to dig deep in tehir empty pockets to shell out 150+ to see Floyd do what everyone already seems to know he is going to do...Dance his way to a UD.........Lefty
"Economy is crap and people don't want to dig deep in their pockets to see Floyd do what everyone already seems to know he is going to do...UD"
I wouldn't blame the economy....a good fight is a good fight....and people will pay for that no matter how the economy is. Pac/Hatton and Pac/DLH did "decent" numbers considering the economy....yet when the economy was "great"....Floyd did record ppv numbers against the same opponents...and he states that he is the cash cow....
My opinion....huge mistake to make this a PPV event....should've been a HBO main event with a decent undercard...something to "wet our pallet"...and to see if Floyd "still has it".
Imagine if Floyd went thru with the fight.....and Marquez tagged him with a "lucky" bodyshot....and Floyd went down from that shot as opposed to postponing the fight....all would hail Marquez as the man who KOd the MAN. What a sight that would've been.....Comment

I agree with you to some point I think people can invite a few friends to their house as I do every PPV event...We all throw in some money I usually pay for the fight and they bring beer liquor and food......It is a good time and a reason for us to get together.......Now digging in your pocket for 150_ per seat say to take you GF or do a father son thing you are looking 150_ x 2 different story.......If he had made it an HBo event like you said from the start which i agree with you to that point people would have tuned in for sure and who knows he may have sold more tickets if the price started at 50+...Say he was to beat Marquez and the fight was somewhat entertaining then a fight against Manny or Cotto or Mosley or B Fighter would have been an easier sell....At this point everyone has such high expectations of Mayweather and lots of people wanna see him get his mouth shut that unless the fighter he is going against is named Cotto Mosley or manny they arent going to buy tickets to go see it live....LeftyAgree with this thread....but I noticed something in your comments....
