Oscar didnt make Forbes vs. ODH a PPV for a reason....Floyd shouldve did the same.

No the fighters arent the same but the circumstances are.......

Forbes was a tune up for Oscar.

JMM is a tune up for Floyd.

People didnt look at JMM as a tune up more than people legitimately asking themselves "Why is Floyd fighting a Lightweight for?" being that ESPN and other sports shows were making a mockery of the fight. The casual fan who doesn't know any better will listen to a Brian Kenny or Dan Rafael being that's their source to the Boxing world. Bert Sugar was actually one who thought it was almost a pick em fight, so it can go either way.

Regardless if it was low ticket sales or even if Floyd is genuinely hurt, him postpoing the fight doesn't help the matter any better. I think Floyd deep down is feeling a bit of the reality of his true position in the sport.

JMM should never be looked at as a tune up for anyone. It should have been PPV worthy but Floyd does not have any fans. Only JMM fans were buying the tickets. Floyd is not a draw. Floyd is not a cash cow, nor a cash goat, he is not even a cash piggy bank.


Floyd, the gig is up and he has been exposed again. Even his own die hard nuthuggies are falling off.

Floyd should have never retired, he should have went after a real welter weight. Had he beat Cotto and then retired, I would have been very satisfied with that but he left with some unfinished business and he made it look as though he was ducking and clucking his way out of real fights and trying to fight nothing but old men and hasbeens.
