A lot of fans have recently been questioning whether Floyd is the draw he claims to be. There are very likely many factors at play here(economy, timing, opponents etc.) but in your opinion has Floyd been exposed on some level? As always this poll is official(accept no substitute.) Poll to follow please discuss.

No offence, Drew, but when people say a poll is "official", it is a little like saying "I have AIDS".
I say this to Godzhand when he does it, too. The only difference is, in Godzhand's case, he really DOES have AIDS. -
I like writing official b/c i used to see people doing it all the time and thought it was ridiculous. So, I want to keep it going!Comment

If mayweather aint that good of a draw, then how come when he was retired, every damn thread was titled mayweather coming back or someone mentioned mayweather?

Being a draw in any sport means you pack crowds off the strenghth of your name alone. Oscar de La Hoya was a draw. he could fight Pee Wee Herman in Arkansas and it would sell.
What a lot of Floyd's fans fail to realize is that guys like Oscar fought continuously for years to get those huge paydays, it didn't happen in 1 or 2 fights. Prior to fighting Oscar and Hatton, Floyd wasn't pulling these crazy numbers on PPV or even attendance numbers.
Guys like Oscar, Hatton, and Pacquiao have legit fans who follow them through thick and thin. Floyd built a fanbase of fair weather fans because of his persona. But once he retired, people moved on to the next best thing...Manny Pacquiao.Comment
