Should've/would've. If cotto had plaster he probably would've beaten margarito. If cotto closed his eyes for 2 minutes, mosley would've knocked him out. My point is fighters need to take advantage and not complain on what COULD'VE happened. Miguel cotto has never complained on any of his performances. He never complained about PLASTER MAN.

Cotto is potentially an unbelievable fighter and with a good trainer he can get there. It's too bad about the problems with his uncle, but at this point he needs a top notch trainer.

I believe that the team looked united but not elite. I do have to finger point out that cotto looked good to me before the cut. But then again any fighter that had or has gotten cut that bad and can't see thru one eye is going to react more to instinct rather than the weeks of training.

I'm glad they cut the cutman loose. I think he did a piss-poor job. Where was that yellow-ish stuff I've seen cutmen put in fighters big cuts like that? What is that stuff? I seen it used a few times, and it works well. But not much could have been done with such a huge cut like that, so i guess the cutman wasn't very relevent.
New trainer too...a real one.

Out of ten i give then a Solid 7. His defense was not good at all. However he did not have to rely on it too much since he has a good offense. They need to tighten up that pose he has when he is on defense. I keep asking myself why is the guy leaning and stooping forward like that every time he ate an upper cut . he also needs to step to the side more instead of being walked down to the ropes. I think the team did ok for the first time out though. If he faces Pacman i expect them to tighten up that D .

Cotto looked BAD. I'm not gonna say he should go back to his old trainer but, Cotto didn't look like an elite fighter. Berto would have beaten him that night.

Cotto didn't look bad. He was just in tough. He wasn't at his best, but he was far from bad. Berto is easy to hit. Cotto would have had his way with him.
