So one man would have a radio, they'd put it on full blast and 2,000 broke Kashmiris sat and listened, yeah they don't bring in money, but that's what you call drawing power. If you asked anyone in Kashmir who SRL or Mike Tyson are they wouldn't have a clue, but Muhammad Ali, they know!
My point exactly. Ali was the heavyweight champion of the world, an activist, an entertainer, and more than any fighter ever, a celebrity.

There is no doubt who the biggest draw in boxing is.

Read above post SG. He's a jet pilot.

I want to know who voted Mayweather?

He's not even the biggest draw in boxing right now, and he's active.

Good discission. I certainly have to put Ali and Tyson up there. But I just don't think Tyson is as big a draw as Ali. No one could hype up a fight like Ali. But still, if you ask people who they'd rather see fight the answer could mostly be Tyson. Pure dynamite.

You're talking all time now. Over a billion you say? It could be that nearly half the world watched or listened to that fight. That is insane.

It would be between mike tyson's craziness and Ali's charisma..

Good lord. I think if they charged $200 for the PPV it would still break all the records.

Here in Europe virtually everybody knows Ali. Even my grandma watched his fights because he was so special. Tyson is also very famous, be he never got the love from the people like Ali did.

Why would he lead the poll??? He didnt bite peoples ear off. He didnt knock fighters heads into the seats. He didnt say he was gonna eat somebodys kid. Main reason is He didnt have that Monsterous ko no need for a second round power...Everybody loved Tyson cause he was a beast and leaving people asleep on their feet...Ali sold his fights with his mouth Tyson sold it with his hands...Tyson could sell out an arena playing the trumpet..and DLH on the Clarinet...
