I'll put it this way. If Ali was around today, boxing would be very different. The heavyweight division was always the #1 division, and it would be the same if Ali was fighting today.

It would be the same if Tyson was fighting too.

          I agree.

If it's not Ali, it's Tyson, not SRR.

But I still say it's Ali. He was a traveling spectacle. They could put an Ali fight in the North pole and force everyone to show up naked, and he'd still sell thousands.

If you're talking USA, then probably Mike Tyson, but if you're talking about World Wide? Then Muhammad Ali by an absolute mile. My grandad listened to all of Ali's fights on radio when he was living in Kashmir...he claimed whole villages gathered around to listen to the fight on radio (they weren't lucky enough to own TV's, took broke to a new level). So one man would have a radio, they'd put it on full blast and 2,000 broke Kashmiris sat and listened, yeah they don't bring in money, but that's what you call drawing power. If you asked anyone in Kashmir who SRL or Mike Tyson are they wouldn't have a clue, but Muhammad Ali, they know!

Ali invented trash talk. Tyson is more known for being an explosive personality than a charismatic lightning rod, like Ali was.

The simple fact is Ali vs Foreman is the highest viewed fight of all time, over 1billion people watched that fight.

Definitely a pickem between Ali and Tyson. Ray Leonard in his prime would have done massive numbers as well.
